About

filmtheque is a movie, series and film-people database in several languages. It is in beta: the database keeps growing and has gaps.

The data (titles, dates, cast and crew, genres, runtime) comes from Wikidata, Wikimedia's free knowledge base, under CC0. Titles in other languages come from the same source. When an item has no Hebrew title, the English one is shown.

Images are shown only when they have a free licence on Wikimedia Commons, always with credit. If no licensed image exists, a placeholder with the title is shown.

We do not use data, ratings or images from IMDb or TMDB. Our own ratings and reviews will be added later.

Adult content is filtered out as far as possible, but the filter relies on Wikidata's classification and is not perfect.
